The sculpture is experienced not as a stationary object but as a dynamic spatial physicality that evolves as one moves through space and through time. Using timber roof elements from the Turbot Street Fruit and Produce Exchange, this undulating sculptural proposal unfurls overhead as occupants move through the laneway space.

Heritage materials such as these old timbers, bring a sense of respect and nostalgia for the historic labours and efforts of those who came before us.
