Dedicated to victims of sexual abuse at St Joseph’s College, the memorial is a place of healing embedded within the school—an enduring acknowledgment of harm and a commitment that such acts must never be repeated. The work is conceived as a symbolic and spatial composition. A sandstone cube emerges from the ground, suggesting a process of awakening, while a central spherical form evokes support and the experience of being held. A water vessel introduces a further dimension of cleansing and renewal.
